The Lyngby vase is a Danish design classic, originally designed in 1936 and inspired by the Bauhaus movement. Its sculptural character is evident in the clear column shape with its typical ribbed structure, which clearly distinguished it from the porcelain traditions of the time.
After the closure of the Lyngby porcelain factory in 1969, the vase became a sought-after collector's item. Due to high demand, a reissue began in 2012 – with a more contemporary, matte glaze, but an unchanged iconic design.
