Rizbaf are particularly fine Gabbeh carpets with a higher knot density. These handmade carpets come from the Gashghai and Lori nomads and are characterized by their high-quality craftsmanship. They are mostly made from hand-spun wool, which gives them a lively and coarse surface texture. At the same time, the surface is soft and pleasant, ideal for rooms where you like to move barefoot. Rizbaf are available not only in natural, monochrome color tones but also in colorful and imaginative designs. Typical are stylized patterns from the everyday life of the nomads, including animals, plants, or entire landscapes, supplemented by geometric concepts.
