The company was founded in 2006 as a result of a research project. The premise: To explore the possibilities of recycled leather as a raw material, especially in the field of design.
Vacavaliente is a certified B CORPORATION, i.e. a company that meets high standards in terms of social and environmental performance, responsibility and transparency. The brand's iconic kangaroo was shown in the "Destination Buenos Aires" exhibition at MoMa New York and has been available in the museum shop ever since.The company originated in 2006 as a result of a research project.
