Biography: Roy Thomas has been writing film and TV screenplays since 1965, but above all comics. From 1965-80 he worked as an editor at Marvel (1972-74 as editor-in-chief) and was a writer for the series Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, Conan the Barbarian, The Incredible Hulk, and Star Wars. He is the publisher of the comic trade journal Alter Ego and is currently present on the web with two Tarzan comics.
