Ultima Thule Weißweinglas Transparent

Der Name Ultima Thule steht für den nördlichsten Punkt der Welt. Für seine Ultima Thule Kollektion hat sich der finnische Designer Tapio Wirkkala von dem schmelzenden Eis in Lappland inspirieren lassen. Auch das Weißweinglas von dem finnischen Hersteller Iittala hat, wie die anderen Teile der Kollektion, eine eisige Optik. Durch das matte Glas und dem design sieht es so aus, als wäre das Weißweinglas von Iittala gefroren und würde so den guten Wein schön kühlen – aber nur optisch. Das Weißweinglas von Iittala hat ganz ungewöhnlich keinen feinen Stiel, sondern hat einen breiten Übergang vom Kelch zum Fuß des Glases. Von der Form her erinnert es an einen kleinen Pokal.
