Der Aluminium Chair ist einer der bedeutendsten Möbel-Entwürfe des 20. Jahrhunderts. Charles und Ray Eames entwarfen ihn 1958 ursprünglich für das Privathaus eines amerikanischen Kunstsammlers. Das Designer-Ehepaar verliess bei der Konstruktionsweise des Stuhls das Prinzip der Sitzschale und spannte eine Stoff- oder Lederbahn straff, aber federnd zwischen zwei Seitenteile aus.
EA 107 ist der perfekte Meeting und Konferenzstuhle. Anders als der EA 108, ist dieses Modell nicht drehbar.
