The EA 208 by Vitra belongs to the Aluminium Group by Ray and Charles Eames and dates from 1969. Compared to the other chairs in this series, it is slightly wider but retains its elegance. What is special about its design is that the cover is attached between aluminum parts shaped like the human spine. Instead of a typical shell structure, the designers focused here on the cover as the central element of the seat. Thanks to the low seat and the swiveling base, the chair is very comfortable and is suitable for both meetings and home use.
