The Bookshelf System was manufactured in the 1960s from a design by renowned designers John Texmon and Einar Blindheim. Produced by the Norwegian manufacturer Blindheim Mobelfabrikk. The structure was finished with teak veneer. The shelf consists of eight practical shelves, eight spacious drawers and cabinets. In addition, the interior of the cabinets was equipped with three non-adjustable shelves. The bookshelf features a practical sliding door solution, meaning no large space needs to be left in front of the piece of furniture, while at the same time access to the interior is not restricted. It is the ideal solution for a book collection that needs to be managed in a small living space.
