Yang Liu. Man meets Woman

About the Book: It's time to put the roles of men and women through a reality check. With her deceptively simple visual language, the well-known graphic designer Yang Liu examines typical experiences, challenges, and situations that men and women face today – from ancient clichés to current debates, from the boardroom to the bedroom.

Biography: Yang Liu was born in Beijing in 1976. After studying at the University of the Arts Berlin, she worked in Singapore, London, Berlin, and New York. In 2004, she founded her own design studio. She leads workshops, gives lectures at international conferences, and has taught at numerous universities in Germany and other countries. Since 2010, she has been a professor at BTK – University of Design in Berlin. Her works have received numerous awards in international competitions. They are exhibited worldwide in museums and have been included in collections. Yang Liu lives and works in Berlin.
