Über das Buch: Whether a museum, sacred building, hypermodern high-rise, or one of his famous bridges: Santiago Calatrava's neo-futuristic buildings combine organic forms with sophisticated technical solutions and soar in a daring leap towards the future – complex, spectacular, unique. An encounter with one of the most innovative architects of our time.

He studied at the ETSA in Valencia and received his doctorate from ETH Zurich, where he founded his own architecture and structural engineering firm in 1981.
