Biography: Sandra Rendgen is an author and concept developer; her publications include TASCHEN's Information Graphics and Understanding the World. She studied Cultural Studies and Art History in Berlin and Amsterdam and has always been interested in the cross-connections between visual culture and technology. Data visualization and interactive media are among her central themes, as is the history of infographics. Sandra Rendgen lives with her family in Berlin.
Julius Wiedemann studied graphic design and marketing and worked in Tokyo as an art editor for digital media and design magazines. His TASCHEN titles include the Illustration Now! and Record Covers series, as well as collections of infographics and books on advertising and design.
