About the Book: This new edition of Jamie Hewlett's very first monograph includes approx. 30 brand-new works and tracks Hewlett's extraordinary inventiveness through stories, characters, strips, and sketches from the Tank Girl era through Gorillaz to the present day. We celebrate one of pop culture's most innovative, original, and driven players, who continues to defy classification.

Biography: British artist Jamie Hewlett is a prolific and innovative player in pop culture, always bringing a touch of punk sensibility. Co-creator of the legendary Tank Girl and the virtual band Gorillaz, he moves seemingly effortlessly between design, music, and art, and was named "Designer of the Year" by the London Design Museum in 2006. His first solo exhibition was held at the Saatchi Gallery in London in 2015.
Julius Wiedemann studied graphic design and marketing and worked in Tokyo as an art editor for digital media and design magazines. His TASCHEN titles include the Illustration Now! and Record Covers series, as well as collections of infographics and books on advertising and design.
