These rugs are made in the province of Khorasan. The design comes from the province of Nain in central Iran, near the Dasht-e Kavir salt desert. Nains are known for their color scheme white/beige and light blue/dark blue. The pile is a blend of wool and mercerized cotton, which is soft with a beautiful sheen. The intricate designs are based on miniature paintings and decorations. Dominant motifs are arabesques, vines, blossoms, leaves, and medallions.

The siblings Vida and Amin combine their passion for craftsmanship and contemporary design to curate unique, handmade carpets.
