Biography: Andrea Kettenmann (born 1956) studied art history in Gรถttingen and Hamburg, and subsequently worked at the Art History Seminar in Hamburg. She has published extensively on Frida Kahlo and has collaborated on numerous exhibitions and catalogs. She has lived in Mexico City for many years and works there as a freelance art historian.
