Velvet Ocean is a hand-woven rug made from recycled materials, for which leftover viscose and bamboo yarn have been re-dyed. Here, the rug impresses with a beautiful, classic grey that further enhances the natural look. Bamboo is a very sustainable choice, as it grows quickly, is not treated with pesticides, and is almost completely biodegradable. The design of the rug is inspired by the surface of the ocean and reflects the great contrast between deep dark colors and very bright shiny nuances that arise from the incidence of sunlight. The short fibers achieve a particularly beautiful effect through the alternation of matt and shiny.
