A very rare set named "Chameleon", designed by Sergio Asti for Arnolfo di Cambio in Italy in the 1970s. These aperitif glasses are characterized by their elegant cylindrical base with an enclosed air bubble, which not only gives them a special design but also ensures a pleasant weight and excellent feel.
Originally intended as aperitif glasses, they are equally excellent for wine, liqueur, or other beverages.
The glasses are made of Alexandrite or Neodymium glass, which shows a fascinating color change: a substance that absorbs yellow light has been added to the glass. In daylight or normal lighting, the glasses appear in a delicate lilac or pinkish tone, while under cold light β such as fluorescent tubes β they shimmer in a violet to light blue hue. A real highlight for lovers of exclusive glass art.
