Baby nest Organic cotton Kapok Grey

The baby nest consists of a filling made of 100% kapok and a cover made of 100% organic cotton. Kapok is naturally allergen-free and contains bitter substances that inhibit the growth of dust mites, bacteria, and fungal spores. These natural properties make the baby nest insulating, temperature-regulating, and breathable – ideal for babies who quickly get cold or are often warm. The kapok fibers are harvested on plantations in Asia and South America without felling the trees. The edge can be removed with a zipper so that it can later be used as a bed snake when the baby gets bigger. A leather strap allows the nest to be opened and closed, thus extending its lifespan. It is important that the baby is always placed in the nest with its head away from the closure and that it lies on a flat surface. It should never be left unsupervised.

Care instructions for the baby nest:

We recommend washing only the cover of the mattress. While the kapok in the baby nest is washable, drying is very difficult due to the large amount of kapok in the side padding and the mattress. To wash the cover, open the zipper of the mattress on the side and remove the inner mattress. Wash the cover at 30 degrees. Ironing at medium heat is allowed, but please do not bleach, especially with colored products. Tumble dry the cover and refrain from dry cleaning. Be sure to wash with similar colors.
