Characteristic of these handmade kilims is the flat slit-weave that can be used on both sides, where small weaving slits are created through color changes. Typical design elements include diamonds, squares, stripes, and Caucasian star motifs. The color palette traditionally includes strong tones such as blue, yellow, red, green, and beige, which give the rug its vibrant and authentic appeal.
