This beautiful bowl made of Murano glass dates from 1960 / 1970. The strong ruby red meets transparent glass at the bottom and was fused together using the Sommerso technique. For such a vibrant red to appear as a glass color, a chemical process is triggered with the help of real gold. This beautiful color is only created after the glass has been fired twice.
It is perfect as a decorative statement piece in any room.
