These vintage rugs originate from used Persian rugs found and redesigned in Iran. Local designers recycle old handmade rugs as raw material for their art. Each rug is carefully selected and undergoes a special washing and color neutralization process. In a further step, parts of the pile are removed or reduced to create a new design. Subsequently, the rugs are dyed in fascinating new colors and patterns. This is how unique, modern works of art are created. As these are vintage rugs, signs of wear are part of the character and reflect the history of the product.
