This carpet originates from used Persian carpets, found in Iran and subjected to a new design. Designers from the region recycle old, handmade carpets as the starting material for their art. Each piece is carefully selected and undergoes a special process: The pile is partially removed or reduced, the carpet is washed and color neutralized. Subsequently, it is re-dyed in modern, fascinating colors and patterns. As these are vintage carpets, signs of wear are part of the character and reflect the history of the product.
