These vintage carpets are made from used Persian carpets found and redesigned in Iran. Local designers recycle old handmade carpets as raw material for their art. Each carpet is carefully selected and undergoes a special process of washing and color neutralization. Parts of the pile are removed or reduced to create a new design. The carpet is then dyed in new, fascinating colors and patterns. As these are vintage carpets, signs of wear are part of the character and reflect the history of the product.
