This carpet is made from used Persian carpets that were found and redesigned in Iran. Local designers recycle old handmade carpets as raw material for their art. Each carpet is carefully selected and undergoes a special process of cleaning and color neutralization. Parts of the pile are removed or reduced to create a new design. The carpet is then dyed in fascinating new colors. As these are vintage carpets, signs of wear and tear are part of the character and reflect the history of the product.
