Vintage Rug Wool Multicolored

These vintage rugs are made from used Persian rugs, which were found in Iran and underwent a redesign and alteration. Local designers recycle old handmade rugs as material for their art. Each rug is carefully selected and undergoes a special process of washing and color neutralization. In a creative process, parts of the pile are removed or reduced to create a new design. The rug is then dyed in new, fascinating colors and patterns. Since these are vintage rugs, signs of wear and aging are part of the character and are considered an expression of the rug's history.
