Über das Buch: This volume documents the first retrospective exhibition curated by Peter Lindbergh himself, which he completed shortly before his death. It features over 150 photographs from the early 1980s to the present day, offering new, completely unexpected insights into the work of the legendary photographer. The selection is supplemented by an extensive conversation about the creation of the exhibition and a tribute by Wim Wenders to his friend Peter Lindbergh.

Biographie: Peter Lindbergh was one of the most influential fashion and portrait photographers, famous for the iconic Vogue cover featuring a group of future supermodels of the 1990s. His works have been shown in international solo exhibitions at, among others, Hamburger Bahnhof, Bunkamura Museum Tokyo, Pushkin Museum Moscow, and Kunstpalast Düsseldorf.

Felix Krämer is a curator, author, and editor of numerous publications on modern art, Director General of the Kunstpalast Düsseldorf, and recipient of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

Wim Wenders, renowned German director, author, and photographer, known for films such as Paris, Texas, Wings of Desire, Pina, and The Salt of the Earth, has influenced numerous filmmakers and photographers, including Peter Lindbergh.
